We created a new GOD

This post is purely based on my occasional thoughts which I get in dark times so I thought I should share these thoughts with you guys hoping you'd understand my points I have discussed below. This is not meant to hurt or bash anyone's feelings or beliefs.

 

                 We all have been in a debate on topic "We created God or God created Us". We all have heard interesting point in both for and against the topic. When we were in our early age era we feared nature. We were scared of nature's actions. On the other hand we appreciated nature as well. We were scared of lightning and we appreciated rain. We needed something supreme to rely on so we started praying to nature to be merciful on us and to help us grow. We created god then and we worshiped hard back then.

But In today's modern world we created another god and that is money. We all worship it. We pray for it, we work for it, we dream of it, we want/desire it to be with us all the time, We wish it to be unlimited for us. We even cheat/fraud/scam/rob/steal/lie etc for it. We all have heard everything comes with a price and in today's world that price is money itself. We all say happiness is something that no one can buy but with money we can buy things that fulfil our needs that makes us satisfied to and then after we are satisfied we can make a run for happiness right? and happiness is a mere state of mind for some of us.

 

Everything has a price tag attached to it. And by everything I mean everything and we all are aware of this bitter truth. People have sold their ethics morals etc for money. Religion can't feed us right? Money can. Humans against humans only for money and greed. Even scams in name of religion is  also happening and citizens are blindly supporting them as they have belief in them. Even people are willing to give all of their hard earned money in the name of religion to such scammers.

 

We created money(currency/coins of gold, silver, copper etc) as an alternate to barter system(things for exchange for equivalent valued thing) but it has become an alternate to livelihood, religion, worshiping, Education, Believes etc. We even pay money to live in our own country. We pay for everything. We pay for worshipping, Living, Education. We even pay on what we earn to retain that earning. Who says we don't worship money? All Hail to our new GOD "Money" which can solve tons of problems.
